The Canon EOS 6D is the least expensive full-frame DSLR in Canon's current lineup. Despite the relative affordability of the rig, the 6D has plenty of features that compare well with those of the 5D Mark III, such as its  20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5+ processor, its 100-25600 native ISO range, and its respectable 4.5 fps burst rate. The camera also adds features that will appeal to DSLR neophytes, such as a touchscreen LCD and Creative Auto and Scene modes.

Kelby Media's Larry Becker reviews the Canon 6D and determines that it's an excellent option both for enthusiasts and professionals, perhaps as a second body for the pros. Some impressive bells and whistles fill out the 6D's feature set, including Wi-Fi, GPS, and 1080p30 video recording with an external mic input for improved audio quality. B&H offers the DSLR as a body only or as a kit with a versatile Canon 24-105mm f/4 IS lens.
